The Biamp TesiraFORTÉ DAN CI is a professional fixed-I/O conferencing digital signal processor (DSP) designed for small to medium meeting rooms, boardrooms, training facilities and distance-learning environments that require high-quality speech processing together with Dante networked audio. It provides 12 mic/line analogue inputs with Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) on all 12 channels, 8 mic/line analogue outputs, and up to 8 channels of configurable USB audio, allowing the processor to connect directly to compatible conferencing computers and USB audio hosts. The Tesira DSP platform supports extensive functions including signal routing and mixing, equalisation, filtering, dynamics processing and delay, as well as monitoring, diagnostic and control tools through Biamp’s Tesira configuration software.A major advantage of the TesiraFORTÉ DAN CI is its integrated 32 × 32-channel Dante digital audio networking, enabling professional audio to be distributed over standard IP infrastructure between compatible microphones, amplifiers, loudspeakers and third-party Dante devices. The processor is also an AES67-enabled Dante endpoint, providing additional interoperability with standards-based Audio-over-IP systems. It includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one dedicated to Dante audio and one for Tesira control—plus RS-232 serial control, 4-pin GPIO, IEEE 802.1X network authentication and a two-line OLED display with capacitive-touch navigation. The unit operates at 48 kHz with 24-bit converters, provides +48V phantom power for professional condenser microphones, and fits into a standard 1RU rack space, making it practical for professionally engineered AV racks.
