Overview
The INOGENI U-BRIDGE 3 is a professional USB 3.2 Gen 1 multi-device extender designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, classrooms, training spaces and hybrid collaboration environments where high-bandwidth USB cameras and peripherals need to be installed far from the Room PC or conferencing system. It extends SuperSpeed USB up to 5 Gbps over a single CAT6A U/FTP cable for distances up to 100 metres / 330 feet, helping overcome the short cable limitations of native USB 3.x connections. The DEVICE unit provides two USB-A ports and one USB-C port, allowing up to three USB peripherals such as 4K cameras, videobars, microphones, DSPs, whiteboards, storage devices and HID accessories to be extended back to a remote host. The PC HOST side uses a lockable USB-C connection, and the system remains backward compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 devices.It is plug-and-play with no software drivers required and works with major operating systems including Windows, macOS and Linux. The DEVICE-side USB ports can share up to 1.8A of available power, while the complete extender can be powered from either the PC HOST or DEVICE end, providing flexibility when equipment is distributed around a room. The platform also supports RS-232 passthrough, making it useful for PTZ camera control and other professional integration requirements.
