The INOGENI U-BRIDGE USB-C is a professional long-distance USB-C, video, data and power extension solution developed for modern meeting rooms, executive boardrooms, training spaces and BYOM collaboration environments where the user’s laptop may be positioned far from the display, videobar or conferencing equipment. Using HDBaseT 3.0 technology over a single CAT6A U/FTP cable, the system can extend USB-C functionality—including USB 2.0 data, DisplayPort Alternate Mode, network connectivity and laptop power—up to 70 metres (230 ft). It supports 4K60 video extension up to 40 metres (132 ft) and 1080p operation up to 70 metres, while its dedicated USB-C power supply can provide up to 100W laptop charging. The U-BRIDGE USB-C is engineered specifically for professional BYOM and video conferencing applications. The DEVICE module provides USB-C for DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB 2.0 extension, two USB-A ports for cameras, videobars or speakerphones, an HDMI 2.0b output supporting up to 4K60, LAN connectivity and the CAT6A HDBaseT link, while the PC HOST module connects to the user’s laptop through USB-C and receives power from the remote device side. The solution extends the videobar’s UVC/UAC camera and audio interface back to the laptop while simultaneously sending the laptop’s video content to the in-room display, enabling a true single-cable BYOM workflow. It is plug-and-play with Windows, macOS and Linux, requires no software drivers, and INOGENI lists tested compatibility with professional systems from Lenovo, Cisco, Poly, Logitech and Barco ClickShare.
