Overview
The INOGENI U-BRIDGE 3 WP is a professional USB 3.2 Gen 1 long-distance extender with an integrated wall-plate interface, designed for conference rooms, boardrooms, classrooms, training spaces and other AV environments where USB cameras and peripherals need to be located far from the Room PC or conferencing codec. Using a single CAT6A U/FTP cable, the U-BRIDGE 3 WP extends SuperSpeed USB connections up to 100 metres / 330 feet while maintaining data rates up to 5 Gbps. The wall-plate device side provides USB-A and USB-C connectivity for professional cameras, videobars, DSPs, microphones, HID devices and other USB peripherals, while the PC-host module uses a lockable USB-C connection for reliable integration with the conferencing computer. It is backward compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 devices, allowing existing equipment to be incorporated into new installations without unnecessary replacement.A key advantage of the U-BRIDGE 3 WP is its clean architectural installation and professional control capability.The system supports RS-232 passthrough for VISCA camera control, is plug-and-play with no driver installation, and can be powered from either the DEVICE or PC HOST side depending on the installation design.
